After a thrilling snowmobile journey into the heart of the wilderness, we set up camp on a remote frozen lake, ready for some ice fishing. In this episode, we reel in massive lake trout, test our luck with Burbot lines, and even catch a sizable pike. As we explore the frozen landscape, we gather around a bonfire on the ice to cook up some delicious ribs and savor the wild beauty around us. On the fourth day, we indulge in a mouthwatering fish fry and face the challenge of a monster Lake Trout encounter. Battling through a swirling whiteout, we break camp and navigate diverse terrain back to our trucks, crossing a braided river with sketchy ice conditions. Amidst the adventure, we observe trapping activity before finally reaching civilization. Join us as we reflect on the trials and triumphs of our unforgettable journey in the Yukon wilderness. In the midst of late winter's chill, we brave the rugged trails of the Yukon, our snowmobiles carving through the pristine snowscape. Our destination? A secluded backcountry lake known for giant lake trout. After a challenging ride, we arrive at the lake under the cloak of darkness and camp on the ice. We soon enjoy an amazing display of the northern lights,. We experience some amazing ice fishing - the best I've ever had by far and land some real giants.
